Green & Low-Carbon Compliance Solution
Green & Low-Carbon Compliance Solution

Energy, water, emissions and environmental obligations arrive as three separate requests, and are usually answered three separate ways: a meter read by hand, a spreadsheet maintained by whoever is leaving, and a report assembled the week it is due.
The underlying problem is not measurement. It is that the activity behind all three obligations is never recorded once and read consistently, so every request rebuilds it from whatever source was nearest at the time.
We take the activity data first — what the plant actually does, at the points where it happens — and let energy accounting, carbon accounting and compliance reporting be three readings of that one record.
What this is. A measurement and compliance service that puts one reliable record of plant activity underneath energy, carbon and environmental obligations. What this is not. It is not a reporting exercise. A report produced without changing what can be measured or controlled will be needed again next year. What we commit to. A record you can defend in an audit, and the means to act on what it shows.
What makes this hard in practice
How we work
Three obligations, one record. The distinction matters: the activity is captured once, and each obligation is a different reading of it — not three separate data collection projects.
We also fix the boundary question before data collection starts. What counts as yours, what is bought, what is waste and what is a product leaving the gate changes the answer entirely, and agreeing it early is cheaper than reconciling it later.
Where it applies
Situation | What usually needs to be produced | What makes it difficult |
Energy management | Consumption by line, shift and product | Metering exists, but not where attribution is possible |
Carbon accounting & reporting | Activity-based emissions, by scope | Source records live in finance or operations, not together |
Environmental compliance | Monitoring records, permits, evidence | Evidence produced on request rather than as it happens |
Customer or supply chain requests | Product or site level carbon data | No common boundary and no shared definitions |
Cost reduction programmes | Which improvement actually reduced consumption | No baseline that survives a change of product mix |
How we deliver: four stages
Stage | What we do | What you get |
Measure | Agree the boundary and the definitions, then check what is already metered and where | A measurement map and a list of what has to be added |
Collect | Put capture at the points that make attribution possible, and automate what is read by hand today | Activity data recorded as it happens, not reconstructed |
Report | Build the three readings on that record and agree them with your finance and compliance teams | Energy, carbon and compliance outputs from one source |
Reduce | Use the attributed data to target and verify improvements | Changes that can be shown to have worked, on your own numbers |
What we bring
How quality is assured
Stage | What is checked before we move on |
Measure | The boundary and definitions are agreed in writing with your finance and compliance leads |
Collect | Captured data is reconciled against a known total, so gaps are found by us rather than by an auditor |
Report | Outputs are reproduced from the record by someone who did not build it |
Reduce | A verified improvement is demonstrated on your own baseline before the next one is funded |
What we solve
Each of these is something we take responsibility for solving before the next stage begins.
How we work with you
Fix the definition first. Agreement on scope and boundaries before any instrument is installed.
Capture at the point of use. A record made where the activity happens survives scrutiny better than one reconstructed later.
Leave the method behind. Definitions, tools and ownership stay with your team, so the next scheme does not start again.
